IGP Kashmir presides over concluding ceremony of Badminton Championship at Budgam | KNO

Srinagar, April 29 (KNO) : IGP Kashmir Shri Swayam Prakash Pani (IPS) and DIG CKR Shri V.K.Birdi (IPS) today visited District Budgam to attend the closing ceremony of Badminton Championship. The badminton championship was organized by Budgam Police under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) and featured 32 participants in Junior, Senior and Veteran categories.

The prizes were distributed by DIG CKR Shri V.K. Birdi (IPS) and SSP Budgam Shri Tejinder Singh (IPS). Later IGP Kashmir and DIG CKR also interacted with jawans of Crisis Response Team (CRT) Budgam where they were given a demonstration of specialized equipments acquired recently. Other officers of the District including ASP Budgam Shri Majid Malik KPS, DySP DAR Budgam, DySP Hqrs Budgam and DYSsP PC Budgam and Chadoora were also present. IGP Kashmir exhorted upon jawans to carry out their duties with great deal of professionalism. Further he stressed the need for acquiring specialisation for handling future challenges of policing.
